Delegate Lee Ware has rightly been hailed as "the conservative conscience of the House of Delegates." I admire Lee, and I have been fortunate to know him, and to support him, for many years. I am honored to have his endorsement in my quest to be your nominee for the State Senate from the 10th District.

Fellow Republicans:

It is my privilege to invite you to join me in supporting Jean Gannon as our nominee to succeed Congressman-elect John McGuire as our member of the State Senate for the 10th District of Virginia.

The nominating process will be decided on November 19th, by chairs of the GOP units of the 10th District. We can expect a party-run election contest shortly thereafter. Unofficial reports are that the election to fill the seat may occur as early as mid-December.

Jean is a conservative, a Christian, a business-owner (she is a land and home appraiser), a gun-owner (and shooter), and an energetic—and effective—Republican. She is a former chairwoman of the Powhatan GOP, a founder of the Mill Quarter Republican Women’s Club, and a member of RPV’s State Central Committee.

Further, Jean is well known and well respected by members of both the House and State Senate. She has twice shepherded legislation to passage by the General Assembly, and she has for a decade successfully managed my own campaigns for re-election.

There’s more: Jean is smart, an organizer, will be tireless in serving our communities and counties, and she is both a joy to know and a woman of principle and conviction. She will vote wisely, and she will be a unifier, both for Republicans in the 10th District and within the Caucus of our fellow Republican members of the Senate.

For these reasons and more, I heartily endorse Jean Gannon for Senate, and I invite you to join me in doing so—for the benefit of all our fellow citizens.
