Powhatan Commonwealth Attorney Endorses

Rob Cerullo serves as Powhatan County's Commonwealth's Attorney, having worked in the office for nearly a decade he understands the leaders we need in our community to help make the Commonwealth a safer place to live, work, and raise a family.

"I am proud to endorse Jean Gannon for state Senate. In the Senate, Jean will support legislation to end illegal immigrant sanctuary policies and get tough on the violent crime that is plaguing too many of our communities. Jean is the candidate I trust to keep our families and neighborhoods safe."

The 10th State Senate District consists of all of Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham,

Cumberland, Fluvanna, Goochland, and Powhatan counties, and parts of Hanover,

Louisa, and Prince Edward counties.

The nominating process will be decided on November 19th, by chairs of the GOP units of the 10th District. We can expect a party-run election contest shortly thereafter. Unofficial reports are that the election to fill the seat may occur as early as mid-December.

Jean is a conservative, a Christian, a business-owner (she is a certified and designated residential real estate appraiser), a gun-owner (and shooter), and an energetic—and effective—Republican. She is a former chairwoman of the Powhatan GOP, a founder of the Mill Quarter Republican Women’s Club, and a member of RPV’s State Central Committee.
